Health & Hope Free Clinic – Thankful For Their Volunteers

This is a time for thanks. Health & Hope Free Clinic is consumed with gratitude of huge proportions for its volunteers. A group of dedicated individuals that have collectively poured out over 18,000 hours of true kindness to the patients in the last five years! People who choose to devote their Tuesday evening, sometimes directly after working a full day, to help their neighbors who are ill. The mission of Health & Hope could not exist without these faithful servants. Thank you to these consistent volunteers who have given between 400-700 hours of service, Cindy O’Brien, Margret Strohbach, Michael Strohbach, James Miller, Jennifer Polley, Lin Grey, Connie Mullins, Lori Denton, Jennie Dries, Jane Miller, Jeanne Klumper, and Jemima Tso. If you or your staff are looking for a way to serve, stop by the clinic or visit www.hhmo.org.

The volunteers are also supported by some local churches as well as a few individuals who deliver meals made with love every Tuesday evening. Some of the volunteers are coming directly from work and give up their meal time. Therefore, this separate group of volunteers fill the physical needs of those working the clinic as well as bring about fellowship surrounded by their delicious food. Thank you to the following meal preparers, Centralia Immanuel Lutheran Church, Chehalis Seventh Day Adventist, St. Johns Lutheran Church, Centralia Christian School, Chehalis United Methodist Church, Cristi Heitschmidt, Maria Cebrero, and Jessica Kast among others. There are still openings in the 2018 calendar to serve meals. If you would like to help please email contact@hhmo.org, call (360) 623-1485 or simply stop by the clinic on a Tuesday night to discuss.
