Village Concepts of Chehalis – Woodland Village is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art Assisted Living and Memory Care building. The ownership of Stuart Brown and Pete Jorgensen of Village Concepts and Ted Johnson of Marathon Development are the force behind the project which is projected to invest an estimated 7.1 million to meet the ever-increasing need of senior living options in Lewis County. It will also create an estimated 20+ jobs for the local community when completed which is estimated to be early 2019.
Village Concepts owns and manages 17 communities in the Puget Sound region, with “creating a village that feels like family” as the company motto. Village Concepts employs 475 people and is updating its properties often, including a range of living choices in one community as with Village Concepts of Chehalis. The intentional resident-focused community will offer independent living apartments, duplexes and townhouses, as well as 24 new Assisted Living rooms and 19 Memory Care rooms so residents can conveniently transition to a higher level of care.
