ArTrails of Southwest Washington

The ARTrails 2018 Scholarship has been awarded to Grace Redmon of Centralia. Grace is working on her Associate’s degree in Graphic Design with a BA in Business with emphasis in marketing and advertising. Congratulations, Grace!

Now is the time for interested artists to apply for ARTrails membership. The application deadline is February 1.

Most mediums are accepted as long as the work and the originating concepts are yours.

To apply, go to Click on Join Us, then click as indicated to get the pdf application. Fill it out, return it, and follow directions for submitting the $15 jury fee.

To date, ARTrails hosts members who paint with anything from oils to coffee, fiber artists, clay or cement artists, and those making jewelry. Photographers are represented as are artists using glass or wood.

For those not ready to join as artists, we invite you join as Friend, Sponsor, or Patron. Each has its own requirements and benefits listed on the website.

The Eventbrite registration for the ARTrails February 9 workshop is open to the public. Painting on Textiles with Acrylics includes a range of techniques, tips, and acrylic products that can create incredible surfaces. Methods and techniques are appropriate for wearable art, sculpture, installation, or two-dimensional art. The link is: .
