
March Forum presented by EALC: Women in Business Sneak Peek
In honor of Women’s History Month, the March Chamber Forum features a presentation about Women in Business from the Economic Alliance of Lewis County (Alliance). The Forum is the monthly meeting of the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce and takes place Thursday, March 9, at O’Blarney’s in Centralia.
The Alliance is offering a sneak peek about their upcoming Women in Business Seminar taking place the following week. Doors open at 11:30 am with the Forum starting at Noon. Admission is open to the general public with a $5 beverage and sitting fee. For those wanting a buffet lunch, the cost is $17. Space is limited. Those who want lunch should arrive early. O’Blarney’s is located at 221 N Tower Ave, Centralia.
Dolly Tardiff, Business Development Center and Program Manager for the Alliance, is speaking about the presenters and topics that are being covered at the Women in Business Seminar. The seminar is meant to be an uplifting and positive experience. “This event will empower women and give them the knowledge to overcome obstacles in the workplace,” states Tardiff. “Do what you love, and success will follow.” she adds. The Women in Business Seminar takes place March 15 and the Forum offers an opportunity to learn more and register.
