Centralia Outlets is a hotspot for holiday shoppers

Centralia Outlets is ready for the holiday season, with its 27 businesses open until 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays to give shoppers more time to check items off their holiday shopping lists.

In addition to the extended holiday hours, Centralia Outlets houses Santa’s Mailbox in its gallery, between Polo Ralph Lauren and Eddie Bower, from Dec. 1-15. Santa replies to all letters that include a return mailing address.

Centralia Outlets also hosts The Centralia Farmers Market’s Holiday Market on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Thanksgiving weekend through Dec. 17 at 2000 Haviland St. next to the DXL Mens Outlet.

The Centralia Outlets, the Northwest’s original outlet shopping destination, opened in 1988 with London Fog as its original store. The official commencement date of the center is November 1988 and the center will be celebrating 35 years of providing brand names at big savings.

Centralia Outlets boast several exceptional brand-name stores that offer quality products directly to consumers at discounted savings, according to marketing manager Sheleen Lundeen.

Notable tenants include the Under Armour Clearance House, which is one of only four in the U.S.; the Bath & Body Works Outlet, which is only one found in the Northwest region of Washington, Oregon and Idaho; the Centralia Nike Clearance Store, which is the largest and one of two in Washington state; and Polo Ralph Lauren Clearance, which is one of four locations in the U.S.

Two new brands, Columbia Clearance Store and Jockey Clearance Store, opened last August and more brands will potentially join the Centralia Outlets in 2024, according to Lundeen.
