Kevin Carns

Executive Director

Kevin Carns is the Executive Director of the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, bringing extensive experience in organizational strategy, public policy, communications, business development, and community service.

A lifelong Lewis County resident, Kevin grew up on his family’s farm outside Chehalis and has deep roots in the region. His leadership at the Chamber is focused on strengthening the local business community, expanding membership and sponsorship opportunities, advocating for a competitive economic climate, and building partnerships among employers, government, schools, and community organizations.

Kevin is also the founder of Prometheus Digital, a strategic intelligence and digital consulting firm serving organizations and campaigns nationwide. Previously, he spent 17 years working with the Washington State House of Representatives and later served as Manager of Insights & Strategy at Causeway Solutions. His career has centered on helping organizations understand complex challenges, allocate resources effectively, and turn strategic plans into measurable results.

A former U.S. Army paratrooper, Kevin served with the 1st Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, including service in reconnaissance. His military experience shaped a leadership style grounded in preparation, accountability, adaptability, and decisive execution.

Kevin has served on the Chehalis City Council since 2022, providing firsthand experience with municipal government, budgeting, infrastructure, public safety, and economic development.

He studied Public Affairs at Washington State University and completed executive education programs through the Yale School of Management and the University of Oxford.

As Executive Director, Kevin is committed to listening to members, championing local employers, and positioning the Centralia-Chehalis area for sustainable economic growth.

Jacob Larson

Jacob joined the Chamber in 2023 and helps out with any and all chamber events. He loves photography, and is ecstatic to help local businesses grow. Jacob is the youngest of 8 Children, and has 28 Nieces and Nephews.

Juanita MacNaughton

Chamber Member Relations

Meet Juanita MacNaughton our Member Relations Manager. A 14-year Air Force Veteran, dedicated mother of four, and a 20-year resident of Lewis County, Juanita has a deep appreciation for the role local businesses play in shaping our community. She’s enjoyed watching her children grow up visiting and supporting the very businesses she will now serve.

With experience as a Business Solutions Navigator for the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, Juanita brings both expertise in workforce development, business marketing, and organizational growth.

In Juanita’s spare time she enjoys time with family and friends, hiking, kayaking, fishing and camping. She cherishes her time with her children, two attending college in North Carolina, one in the U.S. Army, and her last bird in the nest keeps her on her toes as a local Freshman.
