Chehalis Welcomes You for the Holidays!

Whimsical light displays, charming shops, and jolly traditions all add to the cheer and holiday spirit found in Chehalis during the Christmas season. In our busy lives and full schedules, this is a time of year to celebrate the best of community and our small-town lifestyle. Forgo the lines, traffic, and unending parking lots. Instead, opt for thoughtful browsing at your local bookstore or boutique. Take time to reconnect with friends over a relaxed meal (without the wait times!). Remember that shopping for a special gift can be a rewarding and meaningful experience.  Chehalis offers rich traditions and a calendar full of ways to keep the charm of a small-town holiday alive and well.

Whether you’re gift-hunting or just browsing, holiday markets are a delightful way to get in the holiday spirit. Numerous open houses offer the chance to snack on small bites, shop store-wide specials, and enjoy unique activities. Let’s also keep in mind our local museum gift shops where you can score the perfect present for your history buff, veteran or railfan. And what would the holidays be without the traditional tastes of the season? Our local coffee shops, restaurants, and delis will be serving up holiday specials you wait all year to enjoy.

Take the family to our production of the Nutcracker, go on a holiday train ride, or enjoy the sights of our classic Santa Parade. There is no shortage of opportunities to make lasting memories and embrace the excitement of the season here in Chehalis.
