We have four strategic priorities!

Membership expansion and retention. The Chamber has a thriving membership that drives volunteerism and community involvement at all levels. Making sure we meet the needs of our members is our priority to ensure continued growth.

Promote tourism in Lewis County. Tourism is vital to the Chamber and the many businesses that benefit from visitors to our cities and county. The Chamber serves as the area’s Visitor Center and we actively promote the activities, events, and attractions that draw people to the area.

Provide Community Events / Business Networking Opportunities and Business Education. The chamber is dedicated to providing business networking, education, and promotional opportunities for its members. We offer monthly Business After Hours for members to host and speaker forums designed to keep our members informed about local, county, and regional topical issues and opportunities. The Chamber also offers Ribbon Cutting ceremonies, an annual banquet, and community events for promotion and networking. We also offer businesses a means to reach new customers through its monthly insert into The Chronicle called The Connection and keeps its membership informed through its weekly electronic newsletter.

Support Economic Development in Lewis county.. The Chamber participates in committees that encourage and collaborates on economic development and lends support to business development and growth. We spearheaded an extensive “County-Wide Economic Profile” project with other community partners and actively seek new opportunities.

The purpose of the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce is to promote, protect and inform the business community. The Chamber is a voluntary partnership of businesses, organizations, governments, and individuals working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in our community.
