Volunteering for the Chamber of Commerce is a great opportunity to support locally owned businesses and get out and make an impact in our community. Lewis County native Cara Legg has been volunteering over the past 3 years with the Chamber. Legg grew up in Onalaska, moved away for a few years after high school, but returned to Chehalis and has called the area home ever since.

Legg is currently an account executive with Live 95 and KITI Radio stations, and prior to that was a sales representative for Total Employment and Management in Chehalis. A business forum was the first event she went to, and then after that became an Ambassador while working for Total Employment and Management.

“Volunteering is very important in our community. We are lucky to have so many great folks willing to volunteer their time to help better our community and support local businesses!” commented Legg. Her favorite part about volunteering is the relationships she has built over the years, “Both personally and professionally! Attending our local Chamber events are a highlight…I especially love Ribbon Cuttings!” explained Legg.

We are so grateful to have so many wonderful volunteers. If you would like to find out more about volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce, please email [email protected] or call (360) 748-8885.
