Local Realtor Celebrates Major Milestone

Busch Buschlen, local realtor with Chehalis Valley Realty celebrates 53 years in real estate April 15, 2023. This major accolade comes with decades of knowledge and experience.

Busch was raised in Michigan, but after marrying the love of his life in May 1962, he and his wife Jan moved West to escape the cold Michigan winters. They moved first to Seattle, then on to California, and lastly Mexico where they taught, traveled, and discovered numerous archaeology sites before returning back to Washington. Upon their return, Busch decided to get his real estate license in April 1970, then welcomed daughter Julie in July 1970. While Busch has traveled to every state in the country and held property in many places, he has called Lewis County home since 1977. In his spare time, Busch enjoys spending time with family, traveling, attending weekly Men’s Group Breakfast, playing cards, and catching up with friends. If you would like to congratulate Busch on this achievement or have questions about real estate, feel free to call the office at 360-740-4222.

Tourism is an economic engine. If you want a new income stream for your business you need to target tourists this travel session. Mount St. Helens and Mt. Rainier are two of the biggest tourist attractions in Washington State. And, if you fly into Seattle, you have to go through Centralia and Chehalis to get there.

The Chronicle is publishing this year’s Southwest Washington Tourism Guide. We are printing more than 30,000 copies and it will be distributed in all 3 of our newspapers (The Chronicle in Centralia, The Nisqually Valley News in Yelm, and The Reflector in Battle Ground) as well as the visitor centers, chamber of commerces, hotels, and rest areas throughout SW Washington. The bottom line; this Tourism Guide is going to influence where people travel to this season and you should be included.

We have a team of very talented graphic designers that can make sample ads for your business if you want to see what it would look like, at no cost, if you think this is an interesting idea.

Please reach out to me at The Chronicle if you want to drive more new customers to your business this year! [email protected]
