The Southwest Washington Dance Center will host the 29th annual Dance Festival Northwest, on Saturday.
March 18 at 7:00 PM. Dance Festival Northwest brings dance companies from around the Pacific Northwest to the Centralia/Chehalis area. This year you will see very diverse forms of dance performed; from contemporary and classical ballet on pointe, modern/contemporary dance, jazz, ballroom and Hip Hop.

Lewis County Adventist School
Lewis County Adventist School (LCAS), located at 2102 S Scheuber Rd in Chehalis, is enrolling for the 2023 / 2024 school year. The school has been offering quality Christian education to the Lewis County community for over 100 years. LCAS offers preschool to 10th grade education. The school has certified teachers and is accredited. LCAS strives to both academically educate and spiritually nurture all its students.
LCAS is proactive about offering needs-based solutions to assist with tuition for any family seeking Christian education at the school and will work with individual families to find the right solution.
LCAS is currently running a weekly story time on its campus which is open to 3- to 5-year-old children and their families. The story time is held every Wednesday at 10 am and will run till March 15, 2023. Families from the community with children in this age group are welcome to attend this story time.

Lewis County Seniors
Lewis County Seniors is excited to announce their Night of Magic Gala for March 4th, 2023! They will be revealing their new name and logo, along with other new offerings. A limited number of tickets will be available, and you won’t want to miss out on this event!
There will be dinner, a show by well-known magician Jeff Evans, a dessert dash, paddle raise, and a raffle highlighting businesses from around the region in support of our seniors. There will also be a virtual option that folks can attend from home as well.
Doors open at 5 pm, and dinner festivities start at 6 pm. The LOFT is located at 547 NW Pacific Avenue in downtown Chehalis. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Lewis County Seniors 501(c)(3) organization.

WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composters Free Class on Green Cleaning
In partnership with Lewis County Solid Waste and the WA State Depart. Of Ecology, WSU Lewis County Master Recycler Composters increase public awareness of environmental and social issues such as soil and water pollution, natural resource conservation, and solid waste reduction, reuse, recycling and repurposing.
The community is invited to share in our current recycling and composting events such as: Floral Park Sustainability Project, SWWA Fair Upcycled Garden, Leaf Exchange, Christmas Tree Recycling, School Waste Audits & Other School Programs, Chehalis Farmers Market Kids Club, Repair Fair and Pallet Palouse.
