
Pumpkin Train Rides
The Pumpkin Trains on October 18 and 19 depart the depot on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. Children, as well as adults, are encouraged to wear costumes and help create a fun-filled Halloween atmosphere. All excursions are approximately 60 minutes long. Goody bags of treats and Pumpkins are ready for eager children under age 15. Age groups will gather in the railyard after each train ride to choose their Pumpkins. The cost is $15 – $19 per person for the ride, pumpkin, and goody bag. Children 2 and under free. Seating is first-come, first-served. Food trucks and coffee stands on site. Spin the wheel with Operation Lifesaver and learn about train safety. Info and tickets for all events are now available. The scenic historic train ride will take passengers on an 14-mile round trip excursion through the Chehalis River Valley. Reservations and tickets are online at SteamTrainRide.com.
The train departs from the railroad depot located in Chehalis at 1101 SW Sylvenus Street, across from the Veterans Memorial Museum.
