As a longtime small business owner, I understand the value local business brings to our economy and the community. I believe businesses thrive when government keeps a limited role and the marketplace is allowed to work freely. Our County government should seek to reduce the burden of rules, regulations, taxes and fees, so we can encourage business growth that brings jobs and economic opportunity for all of Lewis County. As County Commissioner, I will work cooperatively with the business community to solve problems, encourage entrepreneurship, and promote incentives to expand business opportunities. I will continue to develop and keep a strong working relationship with the East Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Alliance of Lewis County.

Our business climate in Lewis County has a bright future, with many great leaders and business owners that are dedicated to the success of our community. My commitment will be to fully support business and commerce to keep our local economy strong.
