Buying, selling and refinancing homes are complicated processes that can be difficult for the average person to handle on their own, which is where title and escrow companies like Title Guaranty come in.

Established in 1959, Title Guaranty is a full-service title and real estate settlement provider based in Chehalis with a mission to make the closing process as easy as possible for its clients.

“We work with people who are buying, selling, refinancing their homes,” said Tile Guaranty co-manager Jessi Cox.

Title Guaranty also has close relationships with the people who work with those buying, selling or refinancing their homes, Cox said, including mortgage officers, lenders and real estate agents.

“We also offer customer service. So if somebody wants to come into our office and look back on the record of their properties, we can help them do that or if they have questions concerning boundary lines and whatnot, we can help them figure that out,” Cox said.

Cox and fellow manager Janelle Elliott have co-managed Title Guaranty since October of 2020.

In addition to their commitment to their clients, Title Guaranty’s staff have a commitment to the community they work in.

“The staff and Title Guaranty as a company is very community oriented,” Cox said, “Everybody here enjoys pitching in to give back to the community.”

The business is involved in donating to charities, fundraisers, athletics and scholarships, in addition to a successful annual backpack drive, Cox and Elliott said.
